Travel journal, Hong Kong - Fujifilm GFX 50S II + 35-70mm

In February 2023, I traveled alone to Hong Kong because I missed it and wanted to visit my family there. When I arrived, Hong Kong had just ended mandatory self-quarantine, but masks were still required. I noticed several changes since my last visit in 2018. It felt quieter and less crowded due to the lack of tourists, which was a pleasant experience.

During this trip, I brought along my Fujifilm GFX50S II camera to test and become familiar with it. Although the camera is quite large for a travel camera, I still enjoyed using it. It encouraged me to be more considerate when capturing images. I used it with a 35-70mm GF lens from Fujifilm, which is akin to a standard "kit" lens. The lens is nothing special but the images it produces is good enough for me.

One thing I appreciated about the camera was its 51.4 megapixels, allowing me to crop images extensively. Moreover, the colors it captured were beautiful to work with during editing.
